Recently, due to the important contribution of the faculty team of the School of Foreign Languages in the service of the 19th Asian Games and the 4th Hangzhou Asian Disability Association, it was awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Collective" by the Airport Public Security Bureau of Zhejiang Public Security Department and the Zhejiang Translators Association。
To support the success of the 19th Asian Games and the 4th Hangzhou Asian Paralympic Games，Zhejiang Translators Association and Zhejiang Public Security Department cooperated with 75 airports and universities in the province to ensure the translation work of the Asian Games，The translation team led by teachers Wang Zhiguang and Lin Jingjing and the translation team led by teacher Lu Ying of the School of Foreign Languages undertook the corresponding work respectively，Devote oneself to service，Spare no effort。The translation team of Wang Zhiguang and Lin Jingjing showed excellent professional quality and efficient teamwork in the translation of the proceedings of the Asian Games, translating nearly 40 articles in total, and making outstanding contributions to the international communication of the Asian Games and the Asian Paralympic Games。Ms. Lu Ying's team helped medical staff in Xiangshan County improve their oral English ability.
